Certify

Project description

Trust Up participates in the CERTIFY Project, funded by the European Union’s Research and Innovation Framework Programme Horizon Europe, with a duration of three years (October 2022 – September 2025).

The project’s main goal is to provide IoT stakeholders with mechanisms for achieving high-level security. CERTIFY will detect and respond to a wide spectrum of attacks, in a collaborative/decentralized fashion. CERTIFY will validate the architecture through cutting-edge use cases and pave the way towards innovative security in a broad spectrum of IoT environments. CERTIFY defines a methodological, technological, and organizational approach towards IoT security lifecycle management based on (i) security by design support, (ii) continuous security assessment and monitoring (iii) timely detection, mitigation, and reconfiguration, (iv) secure IoT Over-The-Air (OTA) updating, and (v) continuous security information sharing.

13 partners from 8 countries have formed an interdisciplinary consortium, consisting of high reputation research and innovation experts in cybersecurity, IoT and computer science, as well as legal/ethics and standardization tasks.

Trust Up’s contribute

Trust Up in CERTIFY will lead the CERTIFY platform integration and the lifecycle support. It will also contribute to the design of the RISC-V based Trusted Execution Environments and it will participate in the design and development of the Intrusion Detection System and of the SIEM.
